Reports have been coming in this morning of a group of dolphins beaching themselves on Lady's Mile Beach in Limassol.

Around 14 dolphins are believed to have come ashore, with more choosing to remain out in the bay. Efforts are underway to return the dolphins to the water. One of the dolphins appears to be in very poor health, and it seems that the beaching may be an effort by some of the animals to stay with their sick family member.

Petrol station owners around Cyprus have opened again today following a meeting between Trade and Industry Minister Antonis Paschalides and the petrol dealers' representatives.

The Cyprus Trade and Industry Ministry has released a list of 46 petrol stations open on Tuesday as of 1pm. The following are the ones listed as being in Limassol:-

Beginning on the morning of Tuesday February 23rd, petrol dealers across the island of Cyprus will begin an indefinite strike in protest over a government cap on petrol prices announced earlier today.
