FOTH News + Heritage School News + Other News

We are glad to inform you that the FOTH website is back online.

The site's prolonged absence has been due to the need to migrate the site from the old server to a new one. The old server was incapacitated following the tragic events of July 11th 2011 which caused widespread power problems across the island.

While the bulk of the migration work is done, there are still a couple of minor issues to resolve. We hope to have these taken care of in the next few days.

The forum is also live, once again. The link for that is in the menu at the top of the page.

Workers have recently laid down tarmac on the old gravel road which is a part of the approved route to school.

As you should be aware, it is illegal to turn right into the school when coming up the Troodos road from the direction of Limassol. The Police are frequently parked at the school dispensing tickets for this offence during busy times.

The Heritage Trunk or Treat was extremely popular this year, with some fantastic costumes and dressing up, including princesses, fairies, witches & demons! Well done to all those who joined in the fun by being in character and decorating cars.

Although this is not a fundraising event and is there to provide fun and activities for the children and families, €180 was raised on the night.

Many thanks to all those who were involved in the organisation both before and on the night.

The FOTH Cake Sale, hosted by Years 5 & 7 on October 22nd, was yet another success with €446 being raised in profit. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the baking, selling, buying and eating!

The Heritage School will be holding a Bookweek starting the first week after half term, November 1st to 5th. During the week classes will be focusing on the topic of books. The younger classes will be looking at fairytales and traditional tales, whilst the older children will be learning about particular authors.

The Heritage School's uniform shop will be closed on Tuesday 19 October 2010, for stock taking purposes.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The FOTH Cake Sale held on Thursday September 30th at the Junior School raised an incredible €430 !

Thank you to everyone for supporting the event, through helping on the day, providing cakes for the sale, and for buying and eating the cakes and goodies !

Very well done, Year 3 !

After a lengthy selection process, and many months of planning, the new Primary School playground equipment has been installed.

The first ever Year 6 Graduation Prom took place in the grounds of the Heritage School on the evening of June 21st. This event celebrated and commemorated the end of the children's time in the Primary School, and marked their transition up to the Senior School.

Due to electricity board works in our data center's area on Wednesday June 23rd, the FOTH website will be unavailable from 12pm, and will not be online again until around 9am on Thursday June 24th.
