Approved Route Is Now Fully Paved
Workers have recently laid down tarmac on the old gravel road which is a part of the approved route to school.
As you should be aware, it is illegal to turn right into the school when coming up the Troodos road from the direction of Limassol. The Police are frequently parked at the school dispensing tickets for this offence during busy times.
The approved route to legally turn into the school is to drive past the school entrance, proceed further along the road to the T-junction, make a legal right turn there, and then return to the main road via the newly paved slip road around the corner. Once back on the main road, you may legally turn left into the school.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the speed limit along the main road in front of the school drops from 80km/h to 65km/h.
