Friends of the Heritage (FOTH) is a voluntary group of parents of Heritage School students who meet on a regular basis.

FOTH organises social events so that parents and staff can meet in a non-school environment, as well as some fundraising activities. The money collected is spent on students' requirements which fall outside the School's normal expenditure.

Please note that we no longer meet on the first Tuesday of the month. Please check our Calendar for details of the next FOTH meeting.

  • Support and endorse the objectives of the Heritage School.
  • Enhance and promote the children's wellbeing through active measures.
  • Assist the school with the provision of additional facilities and activities for the benefit of the children.
  • Provide social and recreational activities for the children and families of the Heritage School.
  • Fundraise for equipment and facilities for the children.

FOTH currently has the following specific needs:

  • Class Representatives - The FOTH Class Rep system has proven very effective in improving communications between parents and teachers in the Primary School. As ever, at the beginning of a new school year, we desperately need volunteers to step forward and take on the role of Class Rep. If you are interested in helping out with this vital function, please contact one of the Class Rep Co-ordinators as soon as possible. The current co-ordinators are listed on our About page.
  • Forum Moderators - Our Forum is now live. Due to the nature of online forums, we will need responsible moderators to keep the forum on track. Since there are so many languages spoken at the school, we will need a solid group of moderators who can read/write in as many of these languages as possible. While no special technical skills are required for this, some training will be given so that moderators will know how best to use their special forum powers. The only other commitment needed is that of time, since moderators will need to log in to the forum frequently to ensure the forum code of conduct is being followed. If you are interested in being a forum moderator, please contact us, or attend the next FOTH General Meeting.
